HOW TO ATTACH AIR JET SHOVEL TO A LEAF BLOWER

Attach the Air Jet Shovel to a Leaf Blower using Hook and Loop (Velcro) Tape. Notice that two sections of loop tape (Fuzzy sided tape) are attached to the inner surface of the Tapered Inlet Tube of the Air Jet Shovel. These Loop Tape sections are oriented in a longitudinal direction. Please stick a section of Hook Tape (Rough sided tape) around the outlet tube of the Leaf Blower. Then firmly press the the Leaf Blower outlet tube into the Tapered Inlet Tube of the Air Jet Shovel. The Hook and Loop tape adhere to each other and create a strong attachment between the Leaf Blower and the Air Jet Shovel.

Please watch the following You Tube video “Attaching AirJetShovel to Leaf Blower with Hook and Loop Tape” showing details of attaching the Air Jet Shovel to a Leaf Blower.

AIR JET SHOVEL OPERATING ALERT !

Must watch video showing how Air Jet Blowing out of blade is what removes the snow.
KEEP Blower Running at Full Speed at All Times. No Air Jet Results in No Snow Blowing.
KEEP the WIND at your BACK or SIDE at all times. Wind will carry the snow away from you.
KEEP the Shovel BLADE on the SURFACE at all Times. Even when pulling the shovel back towards you. NEVER try to lift and toss the snow. Air Jet Will lift the snow over snow banks.

TIP: OPTIONAL CUSTOMIZING AIR JET SHOVEL SKID HEIGHT

The Air Jet Shovel includes skids to glide over grooves in sidewalks, driveways and decks. Over time through use the skids will automatically wear down to the optimum height for the leaf blower that you are using. When the skids are at their optimum height the shovel blade edge will be in contact with a surface when the user is holding the leaf blower at a normal height. When approaching a groove in a surface, the user may lower the leaf blower which in turn raises the shovel blade edge above the surface so that shovel glides over the groove while supported by the skids. This prevents the shovel blade edge from catching on the groove.
NOTE: For clearing snow from ice rinks, it is best to have the shovel blade edge in contact with the ice surface to obtain optimum clearing of snow from the ice rink surface.
